HOUSEHOLD GERM KILLER
Most essential oils create an environment that is unfriendly to germs and bacteria.
• A few drops of TRUessence Lemon or Eucalyptus oil may be added to the dishwasher or washing machine to clean and disinfect.
• Add 10-15 drops of essential oil combined with distilled water to a 1 oz. cobalt spray bottle and carry with you for disinfecting hands, shopping cart handles, airplane trays, etc.
• Make a spray for cleaning your kitchen & bath by adding 30 drops of Guardian blend to 4 ounces of distilled water.

HOUSEHOLD CLEANER
Essential oils mixed with Vinegar and/or water can create a powerful cleaning solution.
• Replace the average 16 oz. household cleaner by using vinegar, water and 10 – 20 drops of TRUessence Peppermint Essential Oil. The cost is approximately $2.00. This all-natural solution has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties that you can feel good about when it comes to your health! It not only smells better, but is actually MORE effective in cleaning!
LIQUID HAND SOAP
¼ cup distilled water
¼ tsp xanthan gum (thickener, available from herbal supply stores, optional)
1 tsp. lecithin
½ tsp. lemon juice
1 cup pure liquid castile soap
6 drops TRUessence chamomile oil
2 drops TRUessence lemongrass oil
Mix essential oils in castile soap first, then add water/lecithin/lemon juice solution, stirring constantly. Pour into glass bottle and label.
FLOOR CLEANER
2 quarts pure water
¼ cup white vinegar
10 drops TRUessence lemon oil
10 drops TRUessence grapefruit oil
3 drops TRUessence clove oil
If you feel you need extra cleansing agent, add a few drops of dishwashing liquid. This will clean almost anything, kills germs and leaves a delightful aroma.
POWERFUL DISINFECTANT SPRAY (and cat repellant!)
2 cups pure water
¼ cup vodka
¼ tsp. TRUessence tea tree oil
¼ tsp. TRUessence lemon essential oil
¼ tsp TRUessence grapefruit essential oil
Mix together all ingredients in a glass spray bottle and shake well before each use. Wonderful aroma and it sanitizes counters, cupboards, dish rack etc. Can also be used as an air freshener and on furniture you want cats to stay away from.
